We are looking for a telephone Receptionist to help with our operations on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including clinical scheduling. Our telephone Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support, scheduling patient appointments, and directing callers in the correct direction.
To be successful as a Telephone Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office flow. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure that patients are welcomed positively, gain a great first impression of the practice, and are efficiently and correctly routed to solve their problems.
Responsibilities
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative ideally in a health care setting, or similar role
- Proficiency in practice management and emr systems
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude that delivers with a Smile on your face no matter the situation!
Work Remotely
