Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team for the day shift on Wed to Sun 7am to 7am Live in LONG TERM and Reliable . This role requires prior experience with medication administration and providing high-quality care to individuals with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, home & community care, or long-term care settings, and possess the skills necessary to support residents’ well-being and independence. Duties
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing
Feeding, meals , Changing Briefs, and Laundry Administer Medications and Speak
English and Tagalog preferred.
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health status or behavior
- Provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring residents feel valued and cared for
- Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary plans and assist residents during meal times
- Maintain detailed care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and update them regularly
- Support residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care requirements through specialized techniques
- Assist with transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light cleaning duties as needed
- Document all care activities accurately and report any concerns to supervising staff promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in senior care, assisted living, hospice, or home health environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient observation techniques
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks as required
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature to provide empathetic care
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure resident confidentiality and privacy
- Valid driver’s license is advantageous for community outings or appointments
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work the specified Thursday & Friday day shift from 7am to 7pm
