Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple aspects of construction, including framing, finishing, restoration, and installation work. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, siding, roofing, drywall installation, and finishing.
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of structural components using woodworking and metal stud framing.
- Install fixtures including cabinets, doors, windows, moldings, and other interior or exterior features.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Apply skills in plastering, stucco application, caulking, siding installation, and roofing to ensure durable finishes.
- Support site safety protocols by adhering to power tool safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to ensure precise execution of project specifications.
- Assist with remodeling projects by installing flooring, tile laying, electrical wiring (where qualified), plumbing fixtures, or drywall repairs.
- Contribute to restoration projects involving mold remediation or water damage repair with attention to detail and quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of general construction processes.
- Hands-on experience with carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, or metal stud framing.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics.
- Knowledge of power tool operation including saws, drills, sanders, and CNC machinery is preferred.
- Experience in the restoration industry or working on renovation projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique during demanding tasks like rebar installation or masonry work.
- Basic understanding of electrical or plumbing systems is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
