POSITION: Custodian/Light Maintenance
Position Summary: Tasks include but not limited to
● Clean interior and exterior windows
● Maintain and store in proper condition, all operating equipment
● Store and handle in a safe manner all cleaning materials
● Clean door handles as needed
● Clean all carpeted and solid surface flooring areas as needed on a daily basis
● Regular dusting
● Spot clean carpet with carpet scrubber
● Clean restrooms daily
● Clean kitchen as needed
● Set up and break down rooms for rentals and church activities
● Collect trash around property (inside and out)
● Pull and spray weeds
● Trim bushes
● Move equipment, furniture, boxes around building as needed
● Maintain fountain in courtyard
● Abide by the policies and procedures of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church as outlined in the
Personnel Policies and Procedures Handbook
● Light maintenance duties as assigned
Prerequisites;
● Familiar with cleaning, cleaning supplies, and related equipment
● Attention to detail
● Able to lift 50 pounds
● Favorable background check

Position Type: Full-time / Hourly / Non-exempt
Expected Time Requirement: 40 hours per week

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
