Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver a variety of massage therapies designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness for our clients. Your expertise will help create a soothing environment where clients feel valued and cared for, supporting their health and well-being through personalized treatments.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities based on client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, sanitized treatment environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Learn new techniques and modalities to provide more service options.
- Promote additional spa services and products that support client wellness goals.
Experience
- Valid Michigan licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
- Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in physiology and anatomy knowledge.
- Experience with various massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage and prenatal massage.
- Prior experience working in day spas or similar wellness environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple appointments efficiently.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
