Barstow Community College is continuously recruiting for a pool of qualified applicants to support the Athletics program:
The Barstow Community College Game Management will work home game day events with various duties assigned by supervisor concerning game day events. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Manage the scoreboard

Run game clocks

Track and report game statistics

Serve as game announcer

Retrieve and give balls at games

Additional duties related to executing game day events as assigned by Supervisor
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Effective written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills

Ability to use a computer.

Must be dependable.

Must be able to give excellent customer service in a professional and timely manner.

Must be able to work some weekends.

Must be a team player who can work with the students, members of the community, and athletes.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position is a Short Term Temporary Assignment.
Environment: Work is performed in indoor and outdoor environments; work with a variety of athletic equipment; exposure to noise, dust, unpleasant odors, and inclement weather conditions; work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces. Positions may be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
