Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with menu selections, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or similar systems, ensuring all customer requests are met.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed to enhance their experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred, particularly in a café or restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with retail math to assist with cash handling and transactions effectively.
- Experience using cash registers and point-of-sale systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for culinary arts is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
