About the ICU
- 18-bed ICU serving as the hospital’s primary critical care unit
- Diverse patient population with no specialty silos, including but not limited to:
- Cardiac
- Surgical
- Respiratory
- Nephrology
- Diabetic emergencies
- Septic shock
- Myocardial infarctions (MIs)
- Growing patient acuity driven by hospital expansion and enhanced surgical services, including thoracic and surgical oncology cases
- Established Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT)
- Commitment to providing advanced, high-level care close to home for complex patients

- Flexible scheduling with dedicated day and night charge nurse support
- Openings available for:
- Full Time Days
- Part Time Days
- Full Time Nights
- Weekend Only Nights
- Weekend-only schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) includes an additional $12/hour premium

Qualifications
- Previous acute care ICU experience required
- Strong clinical background in:
- Titrating critical drips
- Advanced patient assessment
- High-acuity critical thinking and decision making
- CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience preferred
- Excellent multitasking skills and strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with the ability to navigate complex conversations with families and providers
- Team-first mentality with a willingness to support the unit where needed
Key Responsibilities
- Care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Perform detailed patient assessments and continuous monitoring
- Titrate critical drips and manage complex medication therapies
- Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families
- Participate in advanced critical care interventions as unit services continue to expand

Pay: $69,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
