There is an open position in the Georgetown Public Schools.POSITION: Cafeteria WorkerLOCATION: Penn Brook Elementary School, 68 Elm Street, Georgetown, MASUPERVISOR: Cook ManagerANNUAL SALARY: TBD per collective bargaining agreementSTART DATE: start of the 2026/2027 School Year (August 2026) or sooner (May 2026)WORK SCHEDULE: 6 hours per day, 5 days a weekWORK YEAR: 180 days, the school year IDEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate should: Be energetic, motivated individual to work with co-workersBe willing to work in a fast paced environment Be passionate and enthusiastic assisting studentsDUTIESAssist Cook-Manager & Assistant Cook in daily production schedule.Adhere to recipes, menu patterns and serving size specifications throughout production and meal service.Attend trainings as assigned.Utilize safe serving techniques and adhere to dress code for food service personnel.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience in food service - school experience preferred.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lift thirty (30) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
