Fusion Fluid Equipment LLC is a fast-growing industrial mixing equipment manufacturer located in Whitehall, MI, just off US31. We are seeking a manual machinist who is experienced, focused, and has pride in their work. You will be given engaging projects that will make your workday go by quickly. Fusion’s updated facilities provide a safe, clean, climate-controlled work environment. One’s attitude, effort, skill set, and efficient work habits are directly-reflected in pay as everyone at Fusion shares in its profits. Position starting pay is $18/hr+, based on experience.
Applicant must have experience and be proficient in the following:
-Manual milling, +/- .002”
-Manual lathe turning up to +/- .0005”
-Reading a print
-COMMUNICATING with others throughout company
-Reading a production schedule and work with team to allocate efforts accordingly
-Performing at a faster pace (with slightly reduced tolerances) than general tool room type practice
Common tasks include:
-Machining/Fabricating concentric weldments
-Turning shafts and shoulders
-Milling keys, windows, and slots
-One-off fabrication on manual lathes and mills
-Assembly
-Pneumatics
-Electrical
-Controls
Overtime:
-Occasional stretches of 50-55 hour work weeks, but most overtime accomplished during the weekdays
