Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospital campuses, 31 outpatient centers, clinics, emergency rooms, urgent care sites, along with our 17,000 employees, more than 3,000 affiliated physicians and 2,000 volunteers.
This is a Full time 12 Hour Night Shift (1900 start) at Scripps System Wide Float Pool. Travel to 4 hospital sites and possibly 3 urgent cares required.
This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K .
Our Scripps System-wide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports the entire Scripps Health system. As a member of the float team, you can fill vital roles on assignments throughout the system to provide critical coverage for employee’s leave of absences, sick calls, and peak Service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Patient care encompasses assessment, planning, implementation of a care plan, and evaluation of patients' progress toward expected outcomes.
- With quality, patient- and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the care provided to patients by the Care Team under their supervision.
- Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Float Pool: RNs self-schedule in 4-week blocks to meet shift and weekend requirements. This position covers all 5 campus sites and 3 urgent cares
Full Time Position- 3 shifts a week, to include at least 1 weekend or 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

- Encinitas ED
- Green (Torrey Pines) 24-Hour Urgent Care
- La Jolla ED
- Chula Vista ED
- San Diego ED
- Rancho Bernardo Urgent Care (day shift only)
- Jefferson Urgent Cares (day shift only)

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
