Pay: $25-$27/hr
About us:
We are a trucking company located in Porterville CA and we are looking for a mechanic that can service / BIT / repair tractors and yard goats. This position will handle preventative maintenance on fleet trucks and road service calls for a fleet of yard goats/shuttle trucks. When no preventative maintenance jobs are scheduled this position will assist the senior tractor mechanic with any jobs that are pending.
Job responsibilities:
Tractor Service
- Oil Change
- Filter Change
- Grease all fittings
- 90 day BIT inspection
- Brake Adjustment
- Radiator Flush
- Full truck inspection for mechanical defects/leaks.
- Assist senior tractor mechanic with open repair orders
Yard Goat Road Service
- 90 day inspection.
- Grease all fittings
- Adjust brakes
- R&R customer complaints on site
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Minimum qualifications:
- Must have valid drivers license
- Trade school graduate
- High school diploma or GED.
- Authorized to work in US.
- Speak Spanish (Preferred)
