In this dynamic and rewarding role, you’ll work on a school-based schedule from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm, dedicating 7.5 hours each day to supporting communication needs, fostering inclusive learning, and promoting academic growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold current SLP licensure and applicable state certification
- Experience in school-based settings across multiple age groups (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate individualized therapy plans
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and execute individualized education plans in coordination with educational teams
- Conduct screenings and progress monitoring to help guide intervention strategies
- Document services, maintain compliance, and communicate with families and staff
- Serve as a resource and consultant within the school community
