We are looking for warm, kind, and caring educators to join our team!
At Zimmer Preschool, we believe that early childhood is a sacred and formative time. The experiences and relationships children have in their earliest years shape the adults they become. We are deeply committed to creating a respectful, evocative learning environment where children grow into self-aware, empathetic, and capable learners for life.
What We Do
We educate young children in a nurturing, thoughtful environment that supports their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development. We honor each child as capable, curious, and deserving of meaningful relationships and experiences.
Why We Do It
During the first years of life, the brain—still developing and forming critical connections—is especially responsive to experiences and relationships. Research shows that much of a child’s personality and emotional foundation is formed by early childhood. At Zimmer, our goal is to help children maximize this extraordinary stage of development by providing a strong, supportive foundation for lifelong learning and well-being.
How We Do It
Our approach is guided by the shared values of Judaism and informed by constructivist early childhood philosophies, including Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Waldorf. These values and approaches are woven into every part of the child’s day—from classroom design and curriculum to daily routines and the way adults and children interact with one another.
