Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and energetic Preschool and Afterschool Teachers! We currently have job openings in the toddlers, twos, and our afterschool program!
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in classroom or childcare settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, including literacy education, math fundamentals, and behavior management strategies
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe and organized environment conducive to active learning and exploration
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other hands-on activities that promote cognitive and emotional growth
- Observe and document individual children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies and parent communications
- Help facilitate positive behavior management techniques aligned with best practices for working with young children and those with special needs or autism
- Support daily routines such as diapering, potty training, feeding, nap times, and transitions to ensure comfort and consistency for all children
- Collaborate with team members to plan lessons
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
