Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in maintaining and repairing various systems, including HVAC/R. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Shift hours 8:00 pm to 2:30 am overnight.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, including conveyors and screw conveyors to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize tools such as ammeters and voltmeters to analyze electrical systems for faults.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Execute stick welding tasks as needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to maintain various systems, particularly HVAC/R.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and voltmeters for electrical analysis.
- Experience with stick welding techniques is a plus.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and management.
- A proactive attitude towards safety and quality assurance in all maintenance tasks.

Pay: $33.50 - $40.00 per hour
