Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with food safety practices including proper storage, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations.
- Support kitchen operations by managing food prep tasks, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours.
- Handle cash accurately, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service & fast-food restaurants, cafés, or retail food outlets is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
