A rare opening in our private practice dental office will be available September 2026. One of our wonderful long time hygienist’s is moving and leaving an opportunity for a new team member. We are an independently owned and operated single doctor practice that has been so fortunate to have an amazing team with almost no turn over. Our Registered Dental Hygienist’s play a vital role in our office. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will utilize your expertise to provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Responsibilities and Skills
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Operate dental imaging equipment to capture high-quality radiographs while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and medical records in Dentrix.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to protect patient privacy and prevent infection.
- Proficiency with Dentrix dental software for scheduling, documentation review, and record management.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate seamlessly with the dental team.
