Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service needs while ensuring a high level of satisfaction. You will utilize your automotive expertise to assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate services, fostering long-term relationships with our clients.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs.
- Communicate effectively with service technicians to relay customer concerns and requirements.
- Provide accurate estimates for services, including oil changes, vehicle maintenance, and repairs.
- Assist customers in understanding the necessary repairs and maintenance for their vehicles.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of services rendered.
- Coordinate with the service department to schedule appointments and manage workflow.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs.
- Stay updated on automotive diagnostics, diesel engine repair, and other relevant technical knowledge.
Skills
- Proficient in automotive sales and customer service principles.
- Experience with cash handling and financial transactions.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including shocks struts and oil change services.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes and tools.
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers without technical backgrounds.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
