Job Overview
We are on the lookout for a skilled and proactive HVAC Maintenance Technician to keep our bakery's mechanical systems running smoothly. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that keep our bakery operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and comply with environmental and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate timely repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, equipment status, and HVAC service logs.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA guidelines.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or HVAC-related projects.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and HVAC equipment.
- Assist with general cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
Pay: $25 - $35 Depending on your experience.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience required.
- Proven experience working with HVAC systems (installation, maintenance, and repair required).
- EPA Section 608 Certification.
- Additional HVAC certifications (e.g., NATE or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, and HVAC diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certifications a plus.
