Position Overview:
We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Security Officer to help maintain a safe and orderly environment across residential communities. The ideal candidate will ensure property security, enforce curfew policies, engage appropriately with residents and guests, and document all findings through clear, time-stamped reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor residential buildings, parking areas, and shared spaces to ensure safety and compliance with community rules.
- Observe and document resident and guest activity, reporting any suspicious behavior, disturbances, or policy violations.
- Enforce curfew regulations, communicate expectations to residents, and ensure non-residents leave the property after hours.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns such as unsecured doors, broken fencing, leaks, or damage to property.
- Maintain professional interactions with residents, guests, and maintenance staff when on site.
- Respond calmly to complaints or incidents, assist in de-escalating conflict, and ensure resolution without disruption.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Submit clear, accurate, and timely written reports detailing observations, interactions, and any incidents during shift.
- Uphold a professional presence and represent the company with integrity at all times.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in residential or property security preferred.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain focused, alert, and calm under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
- Must pass a background check and meet any training or certification requirements.
Work Conditions:
- Night shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.
- Work may include standing or being outdoors for extended periods and responding to a variety of property-related concerns.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
