Shift Leader Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the team and keep shifts running smoothly
- Delegate tasks and ensure standards are met
- Provide real-time coaching and support to team members
- Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Oversee cash handling, opening/closing, and store security
- Step in where needed (register, drive-thru, line, prep)
- Maintain cleanliness, food quality, and safety standards
Shift Leader Expectations:
- Show up on time and ready to lead
- Lead by example with a positive, accountable attitude
- Keep the team focused, productive, and on pace
- Communicate clearly and address issues in the moment
- Take ownership of shift performance and results
Shift Leader Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Reliable, consistent, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Experience with cash handling and basic operations
- Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
