Job Summary
Maison D’Alexandre, located in the heart of Greenwich’s busiest business district, is seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented HR Administrative Assistant to support our growing, dynamic team. This is an exciting moment for our organization as we expand our flagship location with two newly constructed state‑of‑the‑art floors and prepare to open our second salon, already under construction.
In this vital role, you will assist with a wide range of HR functions that ensure smooth daily operations and a positive employee experience. We are looking for someone energetic, organized, and committed to helping streamline processes, strengthen communication, and uphold compliance standards across the company. This position offers hands‑on exposure to talent management, employee relations, HR systems, and administrative operations within a luxury, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, resume review, and interview scheduling.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation to ensure new hires integrate seamlessly into the organization.
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and data entry within HR systems.
- Coordinate benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Assist with performance management processes by preparing documentation, tracking evaluations, and supporting follow‑up actions.
- Provide light day‑to‑day support to the front desk team as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data collection, report generation using Excel, scheduling meetings, and managing internal and external correspondence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles within an HR department.
- Strong understanding of employment and labor law, HR compliance standards, and regulatory requirements including OSHA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated project management abilities with strong prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities such as data entry, contract administration, conflict‑management support, and social media tasks related to HR initiatives.
