Admission Ambassadors represent the institution during prospective student visit programs, including but not limited to Daily Tours, Open Houses and Accepted Student Days. Ambassadors support all aspects of admission and recruitment efforts of the College.
Conduct daily tours of campus for prospective families as well as special tours for visiting groups and department candidates.
Use your unique personality and experiences to give prospective students/families an idea of what student life is like at MCLA.
Assist in the execution of Admission events. Responsible for representing the college in a positive manner as well as conducting campus tours.
Responsible for following up with prospective and accepted students including but not limited to, postcards, call nights and emails. Also participate in social media outreach.
Assist with day-to-day office projects when necessary, including: data entry, mailings, and Admission Counselor support.
Job Requirements:
A well-rounded knowledge of the MCLA campus, majors and extracurricular activities.
Ability to communicate effectively with both Admission Staff and visiting families.
Works well both in a team environment and as an individual.
Conducts themselves in a professional manner, especially during fast-paced, evolving events.
2.5 or higher GPA.
Conduct and academic standing and history will be considered.
- Approximately 3 one-hour daily tours per month and 1-2 four-hour events per month.

This position is only open to current MCLA students.
