Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a commitment to creating a positive shopping experience for all customers. Weekend availability is a must.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively assist customers.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Uphold store policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Making space for the new merchandise that comes in on a weekly basis
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, liquor store sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Experience in grocery /liquor store settings or stock management is advantageous but not required.
- Stock goods on shelves and in coolers in an organized and timely manner
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Must be available to work weekends (weekend work is required)
- Must be able to work one or both shifts as needed
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness in the store .
Available Shifts:
- Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- $17.00 per hour starting pay
- Overtime available
