Our client, a specialty gourmet food retailer, is looking for a Cashier/Stocker Associate to join their team in Manhattan Beach, CA. This role combines front-end cashier responsibilities with stocking and merchandising support to ensure an exceptional customer experience and a well-organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and locating items.
- Restock shelves and maintain attractive, organized product displays.
- Rotate merchandise to ensure freshness and proper inventory flow.
- Unpack deliveries and maintain organized back stock areas.
- Keep checkout areas and sales floor clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Report low inventory levels or product concerns to supervisors.
- Support team members and assist with additional store tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weights safely.
Pay & Schedule:
- Pay Rate: $19.00- $22.00/hr + eligibility for up to $4.50/hr in tips
- Closing shifts (1:00 PM – 8:30 PM), including weekends and holidays.
- Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
