Duties
- Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming consultations using straight razors, scissors, clippers, and other tools.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with health regulations to ensure client safety.
- Utilize salon software such as BOOKSY or THE CUT for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
- Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail upselling to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide styling recommendations, and ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management operations.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the relevant state or governing body.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves and hair styling.
- Familiarity with salon software BOOKSY or THECUT for scheduling and retail management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean work environment.
- Passion for ongoing learning about new trends in hair care, styling techniques, and product innovations.
