Reporting to the Senior Youth Development Director, the Billing Clerk is responsible for all aspects of Childcare Billing.
Essential Functions:

Collects monthly childcare payments from families.

Completes 3rd party preliminary agreements for childcare. Processes all aspects of state childcare funding including paperwork and attendance.

Tracks and maintains accurate payment records for all participants.

Sends payment reminders and follow ups as needed.

Communicates professionally with parents regarding billing, due dates, and policies.

Applies late fees in accordance with policies.

Maintains confidentiality of family financial information.

Reconciles all accounts to ensure all payments have been received.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

One to three years billing or bookkeeping experience.

Strong interpersonal skills both oral and written.

Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and monitors own work to ensure quality.

Confidentiality concerning member information. The candidate should be honest, trustworthy, and demonstrate sound work ethics.

Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism. Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
