Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring layouts.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults efficiently.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial electrical systems and high-voltage equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety procedures and identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Install and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation of industrial processes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical work accurately on construction sites or renovation projects while maintaining safety standards.
Skills
- Extensive experience working as an industrial electrician with knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Know how to bend conduit and use of hydraulic benders.
- Proven commercial electrician experience with a strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and low voltage wiring.
- Deep familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements for safe electrical installations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues within complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in high-voltage wiring installation and maintenance for industrial applications.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents during installation or repairs.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation systems.
- Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments.
