Job Summary:
The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. This role supports daily production operations by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment failures, and implementing solutions that support the safety, quality, and productivity goals of Dongwon Autopart Technology Georgia, LLC.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and plant systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

Support equipment installation, setup, and modification projects.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Follow all safety standards and ensure compliance with company and OSHA regulations.

Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.

Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, electrical circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Basic computer skills for data entry and maintenance recordkeeping.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.

Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive industry experience preferred).
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.

Work may involve exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery.
