Job Description
TESSEC Manufacturing Services is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team and be responsible for implementing proper controls associated with the Quality Control Policy, directives, and procedures through the job functions of Receiving Inspection, In-Process, and Final Inspection.
Responsibilities
· Perform Receiving Inspection, In-Process, and Final Inspection to controlling specifications and drawing requirements.
· Interpret Engineering Drawings, Geometric Dimensioning, and Tolerancing (GD&T).
· Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
· Setup and operate Coordinate Measuring Machine.
· Create inspection reports, first article reports, nonconformance reports.
· Assist in corrective action investigations.
Qualification / Requirements
· Minimum of 2+ years of Quality assurance experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
· Strong blueprint reading skills / GD&T knowledge.
· Experience using inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, thread gages, optical comparators, etc.
· Ability to perform surface plate inspections.
· Proficient in MS-Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...
· Knowledgeable of AS9100/ISO9001 is a plus.
· Ability to operate CMM.
· 2+ years of experience operating PC-DMIS and/or CMM Software.
· Ability to balloon engineering drawings and customer documents.
· Ability to perform calibration.
· Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus

Pay: $18.50 - $25.50 per hour
