Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of this role are to paint new construction homes, repaint residential spaces, carry out touch-ups and warranty calls, and occasionally painting commercial spaces. Tasks within these as well as additional responsibilities include:
· Cutting in/brushwork
· Rolling
· Prepping walls (Sanding, spackle, etc.)
· Prepping newly installed trim-work (putty, caulk, sanding, and repair work where necessary)
· Masking, building spray booths
· Spraying finishes (primarily on trim work but may also help spray walls/ceilings)
· Maintaining company spray pumps
· Staining and clear coating (lacquer, polyurethane, etc.)
· Utilize various ladders and scaffolds
· Painting exteriors (Primarily trim and doors by hand, but also occasionally larger exteriors that may require spraying)
· Floor coatings
· Depending on experience, may also carry out cabinet projects

At D&D we prioritize safety for all our team members. Working in a construction environment does have conditions demanding your attention to remain safe, so it’s important you are aware of the environment you will be in. You will be expected to work in and around the following conditions:
· Indoors, Outdoors, and subsequent weather conditions (provided it is safe to be outside)
· Extreme heat or cold conditions
· Around other construction trades
· Around moving vehicles
· Around Paint fumes, solvents, or other hazardous materials
· Slippery and Uneven Walking Surfaces
· Noise
· At heights above the ground
· In customer-occupied homes
· In small spaces
· Around electrical tools and installations
You will be expected to fulfill the following physical requirements:
· Ability to carry up to 80 lbs with some regularity over gravel, stairs, chicken ladders, subfloor, and any other walking-work surface associated with the environments listed above. Lifting equipment will be provided when necessary
· Awareness of surroundings for safety, and respond to dangerous situations accordingly
· Ability to climb ladders/scaffolds indoors and outdoors with respective painting supplies
· Able to wear any needed Personal Protective Equipment
· Crawling, crouching, stooping, standing, and walking for extended periods
· Bending, twisting, and stretching for extended periods
· Maneuvering long poles for rolling, sanding, etc
· Hand eye coordination for applying paint precisely
· Pushing or pulling objects.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
