Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle laundry operations efficiently by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure floors are well-maintained through sweeping, mopping, and floor care techniques.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Follow established health and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to protect yourself and colleagues.
- Support janitorial tasks as needed, including trash removal and restocking supplies to keep the facility organized.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a focus on hospitality or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or similar hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness consistently.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines.
