Northern Oaks Bird & Animal Hospital and Heritage Oaks Animal Hospital are successful, privately owned, locally operated practices focused on the comprehensive and compassionate care of our patients and their families. We offer 30 minute appointment times in order to focus on the needs of our patients and clients, as well as to benefit the doctors and staff. Our goal is to have both healthy patients and healthy doctors. Our practice caseload is diverse ranging from dogs, cats and rabbits to bearded dragons, chickens and macaws. We are a CAT FRIENDLY practice with a low stress handling approach. Internal medicine, preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry are our practice's major focus. We complement this with Class IV Cold Laser Therapy and an acupuncture certified doctor.
2 years experience preferred, but new graduates considered. Candidate must hold a DVM or equivalent from an AVMA accredited veterinary school and a DEA license without restrictions. Applicants must be team oriented, adaptable and kind to other team members. Applicant must also have excellent client communication skills. Mentorship available.
