Overview
We are seeking a compassionate individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting individuals with disabilities to achieve their personal goals and maintain their independence. Duties
- Assist participants with daily activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, and meal-time feeding assistance, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Support participants in participating in therapeutic activities designed by our staff activity coordinators, physical and occupational therapist
- Monitor participants’ health status throughout the day, reporting any concerns or changes to medical/nursing staff promptly.
- Help facilitate social interactions and recreational activities that promote emotional well-being and community involvement.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines consistently.
- Collaborate closely with team members, including nurses and therapists, to deliver coordinated care tailored to each participant’s needs.
- Document observations and support provided accurately in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and support plans developed by healthcare professionals.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of participants
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in healthcare settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Punctuality and Good Attendance is a must!
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
