This position is perfect for an apprentice in the animal care industry. Applicant will start in the animal care rooms. Responsibilities include: snuggling, playing with and watching over all the pets that are currently being boarded or in daycare; maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, feeding animals per their owner's instructions and other duties as assigned. As applicant learns the various skills, their responsibilities may expand to include Reception, animal intake/departure, and answering phones and doing basic grooming, baths and nail trims. Looking for individuals with flexible availability.
Availability for weekends and Holidays and a flexible schedule are a must.
The facility is 24x7. There are three shifts that an applicant can be assigned: 6:30am to 2:30pm; 2:30pm to 10:30pm; and 10:30pm to 6:30am.
Tips give a good boost to your pay check, normally they add at least $1.00 per hour
Pay: $17.50 per hour
