Clinical Director (Hybrid)

Position Summary
The Clinical Director manages day-to-day clinical leadership, oversees clinician performance, conducts supervision, recruits new talent, monitors compliance, and partners with the Practice Director to achieve strategic goals.
Essential Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Compliance
- Provide clinical consultation to licensed clinicians, registered interns, and graduate interns.
- Review and sign all required clinical documentation for registered interns.
- Ensure compliance with Florida Board regulations, HIPAA, payer standards, and company policies.
- Participate in clinical chart audits and quality assurance initiatives.
Recruitment & Employee Development
- Assist with recruiting and interviewing licensed clinicians and interns.
- Evaluate candidates for clinical competency and organizational cultural fit.
- Conduct 30-day and 90-day check-ins with new hires to support onboarding.
- Coach clinicians to improve performance, documentation, and client engagement.
Clinical Operations
- Monitor and report on clinician productivity, active caseloads, retention, and turnover.
- Identify and support clinicians needing assistance with scheduling or caseload growth.
- Manage clinician offboarding and client restaffing to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop policies, procedures, and clinical workflows.
Outreach & Training
- Build referral relationships via community outreach with physicians, schools, and local organizations.
- Coordinate annual clinical training, continuing education opportunities, and evidence-based programs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
- Florida Qualified Supervisor (QS) designation.
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Florida Board regulations and insurance documentation standards.
Preferred:
- Experience in private practice or outpatient behavioral health settings.
- Proven track record supervising registered interns.
- Experience with TherapyNotes or similar EHR software.
Pay: $86,124.35 - $103,719.65 per year
