Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and order calculations
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working in fine dining settings or nightclubs is desirable but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
