Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Massage Therapist to join our integrated healthcare practice. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting overall wellness for our clients through therapeutic massage techniques. The ideal candidate should be passionate about holistic health, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing a positive and relaxing experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, based on client needs and preferences.
- Conduct client assessments to determine specific areas of concern and customize massage sessions accordingly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the integrated practice to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend personalized self-care routines.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including maintaining client confidentiality and obtaining informed consent.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy and integrate new techniques into practice when appropriate.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the collaborative and supportive environment of the integrated practice.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of massage therapy rooms and equipment.
- Uphold all relevant state and local regulations and licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid state massage therapy license.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program (California Massage Therapy Council).
- Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and their therapeutic benefits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour
