Therapist
Empact Youth Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly organized therapist to provide clinical services to adolescents living in our residential group homes. The therapist is an integral member of the youth's treatment team and is responsible for providing trauma-informed, youth-guided, and family driven services. This position works closely with youth, families, direct-care staff, supervisors, and program leadership to promote emotional stability, behavioral growth, family engagement, and successful transition to the next level of care.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide 1 individual therapy session per youth each week.
- Provide 1 family therapy session per youth each week.
- Facilitate 2 therapeutic groups per house each week.
- Participate in weekly in-person treatment-team meetings for each house.
- Complete and maintain treatment plans, treatment-plan reviews, assessments, progress notes, discharge planning, and other required clinical documentation within contractual timelines.
- Develop individualized treatment goals based on each youth's clinical needs, strengths, trauma history, behaviors, family circumstances, and permanency/discharge goals.
- Provide trauma-informed and trauma-responsive interventions appropriate for adolescents in residential care.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of risk, including suicidal ideation, self-harm, aggression, runaway/elopement risk, substance use, and other safety concerns.
- Develop and update safety/crisis plans when clinically indicated.
- Provide crisis intervention and clinical consultation when appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with parents, guardians, DHS/OJA workers, schools, psychiatric providers, case managers, and other members of the youth's treatment team.
- Support family engagement and preparation for reunification, placement transition, independent living, or other discharge goals.
- Provide clinical guidance to residential staff regarding treatment goals, behavioral needs, trauma responses, and appropriate interventions while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Maintain accurate, timely, confidential clinical records.
- Participate in case consultation, quality assurance, chart reviews, staff meetings, and required training.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and comply with HIPAA, mandated-reporting requirements, professional ethics, EYS policies, and appropriate contractual/regulatory requirements.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
