Job Title: Peer Support Specialist / QBHA (MRT Certification Preferred)

The Role: KBH Center is looking for empathetic, driven individuals to join our growing team as Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) or Qualified Behavioral Health Aides (QBHA). We are specifically looking for candidates who are already certified in MRT (Moral Reconation Therapy) or are motivated to become certified to lead these specialized groups.
Impact & Diverse Populations This isn't a desk job. You will be working across several dynamic environments and with a wide range of populations:
- Youth & Education: Facilitating programs at Delta High School to support students in navigating behavioral challenges.
- Veterans: Working with our veterans through Sovereign Roots, providing peer-led support to those who have served.
- The Unhoused: Providing outreach and stability support through our PSR program at Riverbend Resource Center.
- System-Involved Clients: Supporting individuals navigating probation, addiction recovery, and Child Protection Services (CPS).
Requirements: Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Certification: Must hold a State Certification for Peer Support (CPSS) or be a Qualified Behavioral Health Aide (QBHA).
- MRT: Already MRT certified OR willing to undergo training and certification in Moral Reconation Therapy.
- Lived Experience: (For PSS) Personal, lived experience in recovery or mental health is essential.
- Adaptability: Ability to transition between school settings, veteran services, and community resource centers.
