- Offer cultural diversity counseling to ensure respectful, inclusive support that respects each family's background and values.
- Document case progress accurately and maintain detailed records in compliance with agency policies and legal requirements.
- Support families through conflict management strategies, parenting guidance, and childcare resources to foster positive family dynamics. Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or equivalent credential.
- Demonstrated experience working with children in settings such as child welfare, special education, or behavioral health programs.
- Strong knowledge of child protective services protocols, crisis management techniques, and behavioral health interventions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, educators, and community partners.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and cultural competence.
- Skills in conflict management, teaching strategies related to social work practices, and working within diverse populations.
- Prior experience in crisis intervention or crisis management is highly desirable.
