Maintenance Tech (Apartment Communities)
Property Management Company accepting resumes for the position of Maintenance Technician. Maintenance Techs perform maintenance tasks of unit turns, fulfilling work orders, and preventative maintenance. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with attention to detail and be able to work responsibly, independently as well as with a team! The goal is to maintain the buildings, common areas, and units in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities, include but not limited too,
- Fix/Change Locks
- Install/Repair window coverings
- Caulking
- Unit painting and/or touch up painting
- Repair/Replace Drywall with a diameter of 6'' or less
- Inspect and Coordinate all make-ready repairs with Site Manager
- Remove, transfer, replace heavy appliances
- Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter
- Assist in unit inspections with the Site Manager
- Must have the ability to select appropriate materials needed for the property
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. maintaining the cleanliness of the property) and other tasks as assigned
- Must be aware of the condition of apartments and the overall property and immediately initiate action to correct unsafe conditions
- Maintain consistent work flow of maintenance building, including cleanliness and organization. Performs on-call emergency service as requested and or set up applicable vendor, if/when needed.
- Completes all service requests within 24 hours, unless the request requires extraordinary parts or labor.
- Must possess all the required tools needed for the job.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
