Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab at a 355-bed Duke LifePoint hospital featuring a dedicated Heart Center, Brain Center, Cancer Center, and Level 3 NICU

Various patient population served

Cerner EMR

Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Every other weekend required

Float within clinical scope per facility policy

13-week contract
-
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required

Current BLS and ACLS required — AHA certifications required

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

License required if applicable

Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Responsibilities include performing plan of care interventions, medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments

Documents patient care and monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family
-
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, and referral needs

Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance

Scrubs provided

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
