The duties include but are not limited to, assisting with cash and check deposits, processing and distribution of daily income reports, mail opening and sorting, document coding and data entry.
Create batches
Develop and distribute various inter-departmental reports
Receive currency, coins and checks for batch total reconciliation
Deposit checks and money orders utilizing desktop banking software
Prepare cash deposit slips
Process credit card refunds utilizing the database and vendor websites
Prepare foreign cash for exchange
Assist Accounting Department with bank statement reconciliation
Assist with mail sorting and batching
Assists with Mail Center projects
Perform other tasks as assigned
Must be able to work overtime when necessary

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Mechanically inclined
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The individual must possess the ability to read and interpret documents including but not limited to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

The individual must also possess the ability to effectively communicate information among peers one-on-one.
