Parts Counterperson
About the Role
The Parts Counterperson supports technicians and retail customers by locating, ordering, and distributing parts accurately and efficiently. This role ensures proper inventory usage, parts availability, and excellent service to internal and external customers.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities

Assist technicians with identifying and sourcing required parts.

Look up parts using catalogs, diagrams, and DMS.

Process parts invoice, returns, and warranty-related transactions.

Handle retail and wholesale customer parts orders.

Monitor backorders and communicate status updates.

Maintain showroom parts displays and merchandising.
-
Follow proper stocking, binning, and inventory processes.

Assist in daily and cycle inventory counts.

Create repair order parts lines with accurate pricing.
-
Coordinate with Service Advisors on parts availability for appointments.
Additional Responsibilities

Support shipping/receiving as needed.

Assist with organizing parts storage areas.
Requirements:
Qualifications
-
1–2 years parts experience preferred.
-
Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
-
Customer service orientation.
-
Comfort with DMS and catalog systems.
Work Environment
Indoor department environment with stockroom and front counter interaction.

Schedule
Full-time; Saturdays required based on rooftop.
