- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals, nurses, and related service providers
- Must complete TEA fingerprinting requirements if not recently done for a Texas public school district (allow up to 7 days for clearance)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction in a self-contained classroom, utilizing small group rotations for targeted learning
- Foster a positive, inclusive class culture where students join peers during lunch and participate in extracurricular activities such as Art and PE
- Customize lessons to support individual student IEP goals, adjusting strategies to meet diverse learning needs
