We are seeking a passionate and reliable CNA Instructor to join our team.
Position Summary
The CNA Instructor is responsible for teaching classroom theory, skills lab, and clinical training in accordance with Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) requirements.
This position requires strong leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to student success.
Responsibilities
- Teach CNA curriculum (theory + skills)
- Prepare students for the Texas CNA state exam
- Supervise clinical training at assigned facilities
- Monitor student attendance and performance
- Maintain accurate documentation per HHS guidelines
- Ensure classroom professionalism and structure
- Provide mentoring and support to students
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Texas RN or LVN license
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience (1 year in long-term care preferred)
- Experience supervising nurse aides or teaching
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
- Prior teaching experience in a vocational school
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
