Position Title: Warehouse Inventory Operator
Department: Warehouse
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Position Summary
The Warehouse Inventory Operator is responsible for receiving incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing warehouse locations, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are clean, properly identified, and readily available for production and customer orders. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and excellence
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving
- Receive incoming shipments from vendors.
- Verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage or shortages.
- Report discrepancies immediately.
- Label and identify all received materials.
- Ensure products are entered into the inventory system accurately.
Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
- Assist with physical inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately in the ERP system (SAP).
- Utilize Kanban Card system Match Kanban Cards with appropriate materials/products.
Warehouse Organization
- Maintain organized warehouse locations.
- Properly stock shelves, racks, and storage bins.
- Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) when applicable.
- Ensure all products are clearly labeled.
- Keep aisles clear and safe.
Product Care
- Keep inventory clean and free from clutter
- Inspect products for damage during handling.
- Properly package or protect materials while in storage.
- Maintain product appearance and quality.
Material Handling
- Move materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or carts.
- Deliver materials to production as needed.
- Return unused materials to the correct inventory location.
- Consolidate inventory to maximize warehouse space.
Cross-Train
- Cross-Train in all departments
- Go where the need is daily, when asked.
Skills:
- Forklift sit-down
- Stand up lift
- Computer
- SAP a plus but not necessary, Tingue is willing to train.
- Good house-Keeping a must
Safety
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Experience:
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
- SAP: 1 year (Preferred)
- Inventory management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
