Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Assistant Director of Nursing to support our leadership team in providing exceptional nursing care. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a background in education administration within healthcare settings, and a passion for guiding nursing staff toward excellence. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, fostering leadership development, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards to promote a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in developing strategic plans to improve patient care quality and operational efficiency.
- Support budgeting processes by monitoring resource allocation and controlling costs without compromising care standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and maintaining high performance levels.
- Collaborate with educational teams to facilitate ongoing training programs for nursing personnel, ensuring compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
- Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Participate in management meetings to develop policies that enhance resident satisfaction and staff engagement.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Skills
- Proven expertise in strategic planning and management within healthcare or educational administration.
- Strong budgeting skills with experience in financial oversight related to nursing operations.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and conflict resolution.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Experience working within university or academic healthcare settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to effectively teach, train, and mentor staff while promoting a culture of learning and excellence.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
